   Lead Software Engineer

   January 2025 – August 2026 · Remote

   • Led a team of 7 engineers on web apps for several clients. Grew the team from 3 to 7, ran hiring and task assignment, and took each product from zero to production launch.

   • Owned end-to-end delivery of an infrastructure-as-a-service web app for fintech clients: the Next.js and Mantine frontend, the backend, and the AWS infrastructure (Amplify, Lambda, CloudFront, WAF) defined with CDK.

   • Drove all technical decisions for a new file storage web app, defining the frontend architecture and the integrations with the backend services that let customers upload and retrieve files.

2. OpsLayer, Inc.

   Technical Lead

   June 2023 – December 2024 · Remote

   OpsLayer continued the PureStake team and its products.

   • Owned technical strategy for the Moonbeam web app and a second client web app, including the architecture of a cross-platform TypeScript SDK shared between them.

   • Mentored a team of 3 engineers on third-party library integrations and on E2E testing with Playwright. Reviewed critical PRs before release.

   • Defined the shared tooling for both apps: Playwright E2E suites, Vitest unit tests, Biome.js linting, and GitHub Actions CI.

3. PureStake, Inc.

   Software Engineer

   January 2022 – June 2023 · Remote

   • Built account connection and state management for the first version of the Moonbeam web app, supporting the production, canary, and test environments.

   • Led the frontend migration from Create React App to Next.js and AWS Amplify, improving build times, SEO, and deployment workflows.

   • Introduced Playwright E2E testing across the Moonbeam web app, catching regressions before releases and setting the team's testing standards.

   • Established the core frontend integration patterns and the library migration that the team continued in Moonbeam v2.

4. E-FARM.COM GmbH

   Full Stack Node.js Software Engineer (Contractor)

   June 2021 – January 2022 · Hamburg, Germany

   • Developed the SmartTrade React Native app for machinery dealers to submit inventory through dynamic forms tied to sales workflows.

   • Built Nest.js backend services and MongoDB models to support diverse machinery data across web and mobile clients.

   • Connected the React and React Native frontends to the backend via a shared schema sync, enabling auto-generated dealer questionnaires.

5. E-FARM.COM GmbH

   Backend Node.js Software Engineer (Contractor)

   March 2020 – January 2021 · Hamburg, Germany

   • Built multiple Node.js microservices with Nest.js and a RabbitMQ event-driven architecture to scale the machinery marketplace.

   • Created a data aggregation service that generates PDF sales documents automatically from internal systems for the sales team.

   • Developed a microservice that pushes machinery listings to partner websites via third-party APIs.

6. Lokalportal GmbH

   React Frontend Engineer (Contractor)

   August 2019 – March 2020 · Hamburg, Germany

   • Improved frontend business logic and state management for a public news and community portal.

   • Migrated class-based React components to Hooks, improving code readability and maintenance.

   • Hardened the authentication layer with TypeScript and Cypress tests.

7. Hermes Europe GmbH

   Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer

   July 2018 – March 2019 · Hamburg, Germany

   • Promoted to Lead Engineer on a new warehouse logistics project. Owned the technical architecture and daily coordination of 5 to 7 engineers, whom I hired and onboarded with technical interviews and onboarding docs I wrote.

   • Built an end-to-end parcel processing and tracking system: Node.js backend, React web app, React Native mobile app, and Electron desktop app.

   • Delivered warehouse management tools with the product team, enabling daily processing of thousands of international parcels.

8. Hermes Europe GmbH

   Full-Stack Software Engineer

   November 2015 – July 2018 · Hamburg, Germany

   • Built backend microservices (Node.js) and customer apps (Angular.js) for a large-scale logistics platform.

   • Created the public parcel tracking page end-to-end, used by thousands of end customers daily.

   • Developed a full-stack label generation system processing thousands of international e-commerce parcels daily.
